Evolutionary Astrology
Online Consultation

The people who leave something genuinely lasting in this world are not the ones who optimised their career. They are the ones who found what truly made them come alive, and gave themselves to it completely. An Evolutionary Astrology consultation with Andrew is an invitation to that conversation, and it is one that the most effective leaders I have worked with describe as the most important they have ever had.

What Is Evolutionary Astrology

A Different Kind of Map

Your birth chart is not a personality profile. It is a precise record of your soul's evolutionary trajectory: what it carries from the past, what it is reaching toward in this lifetime, and what stands between you and the life you are most deeply called to live.

Developed by Jeffrey Wolf Green, this approach places Pluto at the centre of the reading. Pluto represents the soul itself: its deepest desires, its unresolved patterns, the direction it is genuinely moving in. The South Node reveals what has been carried forward. The North Node shows where real growth is pointing.

Read through this lens by someone with 36 years of practice, your chart answers the questions that achievement alone was never designed to answer.

"It is one thing to be aware of your evolutionary soul path. It is another to be given the tools to bring it fully alive."

What a Consultation With Andrew Reveals

Your soul's actual purpose in this lifetime, distinct from what your history or conditioning decided was possible
The recurring pattern beneath your recurring patterns, and why understanding it has not been enough to dissolve it
Which relationships and environments truly nourish you, and which quietly drain what is most alive in you
The soul-level roots of exhaustion, recurring illness, or a persistent sense that something essential is still waiting to be expressed
The hidden gifts inside your greatest challenges, and when they become available
Clarity at genuine crossroads: a leadership transition, a creative reinvention, a relationship ending
The root of behavioural patterns that no amount of willpower or self-knowledge has shifted

Who This Is For

Founders  ·  Executives  ·  Practitioners  ·  Anyone at a Genuine Threshold

You have achieved real things, and yet there is a dimension of yourself your success has not yet fully reached.

You sense there is a larger purpose to your life and want to understand it with precision rather than approximation.

You are accomplished, genuinely so, and still carry the feeling that your truest contribution is waiting to emerge.

The same pattern keeps returning, in different forms, with different people. and you want to understand it at its root.

You want to understand yourself not as a role or function, but as a soul with a specific direction and gifts that belong to this lifetime.

You are standing at a genuine threshold and want to cross it with clarity rather than momentum alone.

On their deathbed, no one remembers the numbers. They remember whether their relationships were nourishing, whether they brought out their real potential, whether they contributed something that was genuinely theirs to give. This consultation is an invitation to that reckoning, while there is still time to act on it.

Andrew Kenneth Fretwell — Evolutionary Astrologer offering online consultations in the Jeffrey Wolf Green tradition

About Andrew

Your Practitioner

Andrew Kenneth Fretwell has been practicing astrology for over 36 years. He encountered Evolutionary Astrology through Jeffrey Wolf Green's framework approximately 15 years ago, and describes it as the missing piece that transformed his readings entirely.

He is a self-taught purist within the JWG tradition, working without dilution or blending with incompatible systems. The reading is grounded entirely in the birth chart: Pluto, the nodes and their rulers, interpreted through decades of experience with what these symbols actually mean in a human life.

Alongside his astrology practice, Andrew is the founder of the Wu Ji School of Taoist Inner Alchemy. For clients who want to go beyond the reading, the school offers a structured path to embody what the birth chart reveals, grounded in 800 years of Taoist inner alchemy tradition.

"Andrew has helped open doors to my soul's purpose like no one else. He has the intuitive ability to tap into the divine message you need to hear."

What Makes This Different

Knowing the Map Is Not the Same as Walking the Path

Most Evolutionary Astrology consultations stop at the map. They name the soul's direction. What they rarely address is what stands between you and actually living it, and why insight alone has not been enough to close that gap.

Andrew brings 36 years of practice to that second question. The reading is the beginning. The consultation goes further, identifying the specific resistance that keeps you circling the same ground regardless of how much you already understand.

Most Astrology Consultations

You leave understanding your soul's purpose and the patterns behind it. Illuminating and often accurate. But understanding alone rarely produces change.

A Consultation With Andrew

The reading reveals the pattern. The consultation goes further, identifying what in you resists the path and how to move through it. For those who want to continue, the Wu Ji School of Taoist Inner Alchemy offers ongoing mentoring where the map becomes a living practice.

Taoist Wisdom for Modern Leadership

The Principles Andrew Brings Into Every Consultation

Thirty-six years of practice across Taoist Inner Alchemy, Evolutionary Astrology, and working closely with people navigating real-world pressure has produced a body of insight that goes well beyond the birth chart. These are some of the principles at work.

I've been self-employed my whole life, and you can imagine the ups and downs that come with that. When you depend entirely on yourself for income, survival, and security, there's a constant pressure to stay ahead. I've experienced firsthand the anxiety that arises when money isn't flowing and the tendency to immediately push harder, to work more, to do something just to escape that uncomfortable feeling of vulnerability. Deep down, it's the survival instinct at play, making us believe that if we don't act immediately, we'll be left unsupported by life.

When we're stressed about money or when life isn't unfolding the way we want, it's so easy to act from that stressed, fear-driven place. It takes no effort to panic; it's the default because everyone does it. But what takes real courage is to trust that you are valuable, that life is not trying to harm you, and that you are not destined for suffering.

That doesn't mean sitting back and doing nothing. There's a well-known Arabic saying: "Trust in God, but tether your camel first." I fully believe in creating structures in life, systems that support you, things you love, things you need, and the work you're here to share. But what I've come to realize is that the most important structure you can build is trust in life itself. Because if you don't deal with the root of your survival fears, they will keep running the show.

The paradox is this: the more you operate from fear, the more instability you create. The adrenaline-driven fear stored in the body pushes you into frantic action, but that action is often misaligned, and misaligned action only breeds more struggle.

This is why timing is such an essential part of Taoist practice. We are learning to live in harmony with the natural flow of life. If we try to rush the process or force growth before its time, we invite resistance. Everything unfolds according to its own rhythm, and a big part of this work is learning to trust that rhythm while staying committed without forcing, and allowing things to unfold without giving in to fear-based urgency.

Other people can sense when something is rooted in authenticity and depth. Those who allow time for their skills and understanding to mature naturally develop the presence needed to guide others effectively. Those who try to shortcut the process often struggle with instability and lack the foundation needed for long-term success. And for me, this deep trust has been a lesson life has forced me to learn over and over again.

Most people think self-love is about accepting themselves. I'd go further. The deepest act of self-love I know is recognising that life itself loves its creations. And we are among them.

This sounds abstract until you sit with it. In Taoist thought, there are three forces at work in every life: Heaven, Earth, and Humanity. The human being is described as the child of the other two. Not an accident. Not a burden on the planet. A treasure, produced by the meeting of those two great forces.

The trouble is, most of us don't experience life as something that loves us. We experience it as something that tests us, ignores us, or works against us. And so we go looking for love and meaning in the wrong places: in other people's approval, in achievements, in finally getting our circumstances right.

What if the difficulties in your life were not evidence that you are unloved, but the specific pressure that your particular form of potential requires?

Life loves impersonally. That's the hardest part to accept. It doesn't love you the way a parent soothes a frightened child, promising that nothing will hurt. It loves you the way a wise parent responds to a child drawn to fire: not by snatching them away in panic, but by gently guiding them close enough to feel the heat, to understand the nature of what they're dealing with. That is love. Grounded, patient, oriented toward growth rather than comfort.

The question isn't whether life is for you or against you. The question is whether you can extend that same quality of patient, grounded trust to yourself when things get hard. That's what real resilience looks like to me. Not immunity from difficulty, but the willingness to stay present with your own life without deciding that difficulty means something is fundamentally wrong with you.

Can you hold yourself that gently when life sends you somewhere you didn't choose to go?

The two things that cause the most unnecessary suffering in people I work with are this: clinging to their gifts, and fighting their challenges. I've spent 36 years working closely with people in genuine transformation, and these two patterns appear in almost everyone, regardless of background, education, or how far along the path they are.

On gifts. Whatever you're good at, whatever flows through you naturally, it isn't really yours in the way you might think. Life seeded it in you. You didn't manufacture it. That means it's more like a sacred trust than a personal possession.

This distinction matters enormously in practice. When you identify with your gifts as part of who you are, you become vulnerable in a very specific way: if someone doesn't see them, doesn't value them, or simply isn't ready for what you offer, it registers as rejection at the level of identity. And in your own internal dialogue, the question that surfaces is: "Why aren't my gifts being recognised?"

The reframe is this: you are a steward, not an owner. Your gifts move through you toward whatever life has in mind for them. The less you grip them, the more freely they flow and the more naturally they land.

On challenges. The hardship itself is rarely the problem. What compounds it is the story we build around it. "Why is this always happening to me?" "There must be something fundamentally wrong." "This is what my life is." That narrative lifts what is essentially a feeling, a difficult passage, up into the mental body where it calcifies into identity. And that's where real damage accumulates.

The practice is simpler than it sounds, though not easy: feel what's there, without the commentary. Allow the pain to be what it is without deciding what it means about you or your future. This is where genuine self-compassion lives, not in positive thinking, but in the willingness to be present with difficulty without immediately converting it into a verdict.

Applied together, these two orientations change the texture of daily life considerably. Not because circumstances improve, but because your relationship to them does. It is not enough to be loved by the people around you. At some point, the work turns inward, toward the parts of yourself that have never been fully met. That's where the real territory is, and where the deepest freedom waits.
